‘It’s just fantastic’: Topekans take advantage of warm spring weather
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topekans are taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather.
Sunday’s high reached the upper 80’s. Last year Topeka didn’t reach those temperatures until May. 27 News caught up with some Topekans enjoying the spring day at Gage Park.
“Last year at this time, the spring was wet and cold and miserable,” Robert Wall said. “It was pretty terrible. And we didn’t do so well, but this year it seems like April is June, and it’s just fantastic!”
The forecast shows the warm weather should continue at least the next few days.
