July is the official month to celebrate ice cream and cheesecake, Blue Bell makes it easy with new Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream

BRENHAM – Did you know July is not only the month for celebrating all things ice cream but cheesecake, too? And now you can enjoy both in one delicious dessert from Blue Bell! Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream, a cheesecake ice cream blended with chocolate cookie crusted cheesecake pieces and chocolate crème-filled cookies, in stores Thursday, July 11.

This year is the 40th anniversary of National Ice Cream Month. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday as National Ice Cream Day – this year to be celebrated Sunday, July 21. The following year, July 30 was officially became National Cheesecake Day.
