Julianne Hough Dazzles in Glamorous Strapless Gold Gown
Julianne Hough is a goddess in gold!
The Dancing With the Stars co-host was captured attending the New York City Ballet's Spring Gala at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center, as well as their production of The Sign In Sidney Brustein's Window at Virgin Hotels, on Thursday, May 4, and her sleek glamour in honor of the occasion is one for the books.
Decked out in a metallic gold gown with a sweetheart neckline in the front and a v-neck reaching down to her mid-back, she certainly made the whole place shimmer. The fabric folded in on itself in a ruffled pattern, making the dress appear even more glittery thanks to the shadows it cast on itself as the light hit it. Her open-toed heels matched perfectly, just barely peeking out underneath the hem of the dress.
The dancer accessorized with a bronzed clutch, a gold bangle, ring, and a pair of dangling earrings, and wore her hair down in a very loose curl at the edge. She completed the look with neutral-colored makeup.
The gala, sponsored by Porsche and Chopard, had the theme of "Invention," nodding to the fact that the ballet "has been at the forefront of innovation and invention since its founding in 1948," according to the invitation. Attendees were treated to "ballet’s power to inspire" through highlights from Tony Award-winning choreographer and director Christopher Wheeldon and Canadian choreographer Alysa Pires' work, as well as the ballet's Resident Choreographer Justin Peck, who helmed The Times Are Racing.
