Julianna Margulies Is Fashun in 'Dietland'
"I never wanted to stand out. I was just trying to fit in." That's Plum Kettle (Joy Nash), whose job as a ghostwriter for fashion magazine editrix Kitty Montgomery (Julianna Margulies) doesn't make her feel any better about her non-model-issue body. AMC has just released the official trailer for summer's Dietland, based on the bestselling 2015 novel by Sarai Walker, and it shows us a fascinating cast of characters. As Plum is fighting a lifelong battle with self-esteem, a guerilla group is terrorizing men who hurt misogynists. Little does she know that her life's about to get much weirder-and possibly more dangerous-thanks to a mysterious cabal of women.
Everyone's favorite TV therapist, Robin Weigert, of Big Little Lies, will also appear here as a therapist: Verena Baptist, who's trying to undo the ugly effects of her mother's weight-loss company. It's all happening! Watch the full trailer above.
Dietland will premiere on Monday, June 4 at 9 P.M. with two back-to-back episodes.
