Jon Hamm and Wife Anna Osceola Attend First Red Carpet as Newlyweds
Jon Hamm made his first red carpet appearance with wife Anna Osceola since getting married.
On Tuesday, Sept. 26, the Mad Men star and his spouse had a date night at the opening night gala for the Metropolitan Opera's Dead Man Walking at New York City's Lincoln Center. The actor looked radiant in a classic tux, while Osceola matched in a stunning black slip that exposed her toned legs.
Other celebrities in attendance for the black tie affair include Anne Hathaway, Ben Stiller, Patrick Stewart, Neil Patrick Harris, Patti LuPone, Angela Bassett, Whoopi Goldberg, Edie Falco, and Marcia Gay Harden.
Hamm and Osceola tied the knot on June 25, with a star-studded ceremony held in Anderson Canyon in Big Sur.
It was a location of strong emotional significance to the couple, as it's where the final scene from Mad Men took place. The hit AMC series is to credit for the couple's love story, as the two met when the actress played a small role in the show's last season.
When Hamm and Osceola were first introduced, the actor was still with his previous longtime partner, Jennifer Westfelt. They didn't start dating until 2020, five years after the show ended.
Hamm had previously opened up about relationship with Osceola while speaking to People days before the nuptials. At the time, he shared, "It's a bumpy road towards relationships, but we do get better at it, I suppose. I mean, I feel like I've figured out some things over the course of my half a century on the planet. So I'm in a pretty good place now. Hopefully I'm learning."
The Confess, Fletch star also spoke about leaning on each other as a couple working in the same industry. He said, "You're in it, it's your life, and so you wake up and you deal with what comes at you. That's certainly the case with us. The funny thing about this career is that there's no rule book. You really have to lean on one another for their support and for any kind of advice."
