John Mulaney is a proud dad in new photos with baby Malcolm: 'You sure are a fun companion'
John Mulaney is one proud papa.
The comedian took to Instagram on Monday to share some snippets of his two-month old son Malcolm as they explored a museum exhibit together, and it couldn't have been cuter.
"Happy Birthday to the tiny man who has been stuck to me for two months," he joked in a series of photos. "Whoever you are sir, you sure are a fun companion."
Though the comments were turned off from the post, it’s safe to assume his followers couldn’t get enough of it, especially since it's the second time Mulaney has shared photos of his newborn, whom he shares with actress Olivia Munn.
On Christmas Eve, the comedian posted an adorable photo showing off Malcom as he slept.
“Meet Malcolm Hi?p Mulaney,” he wrote at the time. “He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet. I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays.”
Mulaney and Munn began dating in May 2021, soon after Mulaney separated from makeup artist Annamarie Tendler. Malcolm is the first child for both of them.
Munn has also proudly showed off her little one on Instagram. Since he was born last November, the actress has shared several photos of the family as she navigates motherhood.
Earlier this week, she showed herself getting glammed up while Malcolm rested in her arms.
“When your friend shows up and surprises you with a blowout even though you’re in your robe and not going anywhere,” she jokes in the caption. “Thank you @bykileyfitz for making today feel a little less post partum. ILYSM!”
Munn, 41, has never shied away from speaking about her early struggles of motherhood. Last week, she got candid about her issues with breastfeeding.
"Breastfeeding is soooo hard. Especially if you have low supply," she shared on her Instagram stories before posting a frustrated-looking selfie. "8 weeks in and I've taken a million vitamins, countless teas, lozenges, tinctures and worked with two lactation consultants."
In regards to her breastfeeding journey, the actress told Yahoo Life in September that she's taken on advice from friends about not comparing her pregnancy journey to that of others.
"These things people talk about, my experience is different," she said at the time. "Some of it's true, but some of it is not."
