Joanna Gaines Just Shared Her Birthday in Quarantine and We're Speechless
Joanna Gaines celebrated her birthday on Sunday, April 19, at home with her family.
Chip and the kids made sure that Joanna felt celebrated by decking out their home with sweet floral displays and a special birthday menu.
Even though Fixer Upper ended a while ago, Joanna Gaines has continued to capture our attention in many ways since. Most recently, the HGTV star released her second cookbook, Magnolia Table Volume 2, and has been making our mouths water almost daily while revealing recipes from the debut on Instagram.
As much as we love seeing Joanna share snippets of her cookbook and snaps of her family and home, it was her quarantine birthday reveal that made our hearts flutter most.
On Sunday, April 19, Joanna posted a peek into her quarantine birthday, courtesy of her kids and husband Chip. In the Instagram stories, the 42-year-old author started off with a video of pale pink snapdragon bundles hanging from the ceiling as she made her way into the kitchen where Chip was holding their youngest child Crew on his hip while tending to the griddle for what looked like a delicious birthday breakfast. “Woke up to the prettiest birthday setup by the kids. Now I get why they were ‘playing in the garden’ so late last night,” she wrote.
Next, she panned to the dining table, which was set with a “42” made of flowers, flower bracelets, and a sheet of paper printed with “Mom’s Birthday Menu.”
Her stories went on to highlight a streamer-laden four-wheeler ride through a field with “Here Comes the Sun” on in the background, and closed with homemade macaron baking.
And if this taught us anything it’s that, in addition to knowing how to expertly outfit a home, the Gaines family knows how to throw a quarantine birthday celebration.
