JFK's Hot Grandson Jack Schlossberg Is The Latest DNC Star
Twitter is bidding Jack Schlossberg a hearty good morning after his debut at the Democratic Convention last night. The 27-year-old and his mother, Caroline Kennedy, made a virtual appearance on night two of the DNC, alongside a lineup including Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, former president Bill Clinton, and former Secretary of State John Kerry.
Schlossberg, the only grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, and his mother Caroline endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Many on Twitter were quick to point out Schlossberg's striking resemblance to both the late JFK and his uncle JFK Jr. At one point, he even referenced his grandfather's famous "ask not what your country can do for you" quote. "We need to tackle climate change. We need to end systemic racial injustice. We need to make healthcare available for everybody. And we need to rebuild an economy that helps working families," he stated. "We can do this. We can reach new frontiers only with a president who asks what he can do with our country."
Text convos and Twitter feeds 'round the world also took notice of the journalist and former Senate page's crush-worthy Kennedy features. Schlossberg was cast in several different scenarios last night, including "trophy politician husband," Timotheé Chalamet at law school, and as Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid. If Michelle Obama was night one of the DNC's patriotic wake-up call, Schlossberg's appearance sounded the alarm in a whole different context.
