Jessie James Decker Welcomed Her Fourth Child, and the Name Is So Sweet
Congratulations are in order for the Deckers!
On Monday, February 19, Jessie James Decker took to Instagram to reveal that her and Eric’s third son, Denver Calloway Decker, had officially made his arrival on February 9, weighing in at 8.7 pounds.
Immediately, fans began marveling over their new little one. “DENVER and 8.7!! #87 Decker ???? So special, congrats,” one fan exclaimed. “DENVER DECKER!!! Omg I cannot!!! So stinkin cute! Congrats! ??????,” another fan chimed in.
For those that might not know, Eric Decker is a former NFL player, who played for the Denver Broncos. He was born in 1987 and his number in the league was 87, too. Jessie James told Country Living that Denver is a special place for her family. She said, "It's where Eric and I fell in love and got our first dogs and got married and had our [first three] babies." Suffice to say, the name they chose had meaning behind it and little Denver’s weight must have felt like kismet.
Now, the Deckers are a family of six. Denver joins older brothers, Eric Thomas (8) and Forrest Bradley (5), and older sister Vivianne Rose (9). And by the looks of it, Jessie couldn’t be happier.
Back in 2018, the country music singer and Kittenish founder revealed that being a good mom is her top priority. "It may sound old school of me, but being a mom comes first," she said in an interview published in the March 2018 issue of Pregnancy & Newborn magazine. "My personal career and needs are secondary. If anything gets in the way of me being a good mom or wife, I simply say no."
