Jennifer Lopez Is Engaged to Alex Rodriguez: See Her Massive Diamond Ring
J. Lo and A. Rod forever. Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are engaged after two years of dating. The power couple, best known as “J-Rod,” both took to social media Saturday, March 9, to announce their engagement–much to the delight of their fans.
“She said yes,” Rodriguez, 43, wrote on Instagram alongside a focused snapshot of Lopez’s giant, new, emerald cut, diamond engagement ring.
Lopez also shared the same photo, but hilariously tagged Ellen DeGeneres after the talk show host recently peppered the superstar singer with questions about a potential engagement. In November 2018, DeGeneres joked to Lopez that she had heard Rodriguez say he was getting married.
“He did not say that,” Lopez laughed in response. “He did not say that. Let me see the text.”

DeGeneres then followed up by asking, “So, you’ll be getting married?”
“I don’t know,” Lopez replied at the time.
Just last month, the Wedding Planner actress paid tribute to Rodriguez just in time for their two-year anniversary. “Two years of laughter,” she wrote. “Two years of fun. Two years of adventures. Of excitement of growing and learning. Of true friendship. And so much love!!”
“You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place… in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life… you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again…” she continued. “Every time I think I have you pegged, you surprise me in the most wonderful ways reminding me how blessed I am to have found you now in this moment at this time… our time… Te Amo Macho… #atapontheshoulder #2years.”

This will be the fourth marriage for Lopez, who shares twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. It will be Rodriguez’s second marriage. He shares two daughters, Ella and Natasha, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
