Jennifer Lopez "Almost Went Over" a Cliff While Filming 'Shotgun Wedding'
Jennifer Lopez had an action-packed experience both on- and off-camera while filming Shotgun Wedding.
The multi-hyphenate shared a harrowing story from the set during a recent Buzzfeed video, where the film's cast did a Q&A about their experience filming. Near the end of the clip, when asked about the film's stunts, Lopez recalled the time she "almost went over" a cliff while filming a scene.
When the group was asked, "Who's most likely to nail a stunt on the first take?" the superstar answered that she and co-star Josh Duhamel got better at their stunts over time, mentioning a sequence where they were handcuffed together.
She continued, "Except for the one time I almost went over the cliff. That was that wasn't fun."
"Is that true?" Jennifer Coolidge asked, prompting Lopez to explain what happened.
"So, you know how in that scene where my dress was caught on the wheel? One time it got caught in the wheel, and I was going over, and I'm looking at Josh. I'm like, 'Josh, Don't let me go, please!' " she said, reaching her hand out to demonstrate. "He's like, 'I got you! You go, we go!'"
She concluded the story by adding, "Scary as f---."
The Shotgun Wedding press run has offered up some stunning styling moments from the "Jenny From the Block" singer so far, as well as a sweet friendship between her and The White Lotus star. Earlier this week, Lopez shared a funny clip where Coolidge recorded herself looking through the singer's hotel room.
"Hey, it's so weird, this isn't my hotel room. This is J.Lo's hotel room," Coolidge says at the start of the video. "Oh, my God, I'm on your phone. Hey, J. Lovers. I'm not J.Lo, but I'm loving you J. Lovers."
