Jennifer Lawrence Shows Her Baby Bump in a Floral Jumpsuit and Jelly Sandals
We have our first look at Jennifer Lawrence's maternity style.
The Silver Linings Playbook actor was photographed on the streets of NYC Thursday, the same day that news broke that she is pregnant with her first child. The star wore a white short-sleeve Leset Pointelle tee under a loose floral jumpsuit that covered her new baby bump. She also rocked pink jelly sandals, a tan Dior Bobby shoulder bag, layered necklaces and black cat-eye sunglasses.
The Hunger Games actor's reps confirmed earlier this week that she is expecting her first child with her husband, art gallery director Cooke Maroney. This would be the first baby for Lawrence and Maroney.
The couple were first linked in June 2018 and got engaged in February 2019. Lawrence and Maroney were married in a private ceremony at the Belcourt Mansion in Rhode Island on October 19, 2019. They also hosted a wedding reception with 150 guests, including celebrity friends Adele, Kris Jenner, Amy Schumer, and Emma Stone, per People.
Though Lawrence rarely speaks publicly about her relationship, she did gush about her husband during an appearance on former E! News host Catt Sadler's NAKED with Catt Sadler podcast, sharing that she met Maroney in NYC while taking some time off acting in 2018.
When asked why she chose to marry him, Lawrence said, "I don't know, I started with the basics: 'How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?'"
"It's just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he's just, he's — you know. He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney," she added.
