Jennifer Garner and Daughter Violet Make a Rare Joint Appearance at the White House
President Joe Biden invited actress Jennifer Garner to the annual White House state dinner, and the actress brought along the most special date: her eldest daughter, Violet Affleck.
The mother-daughter duo arrived at the event last night in coordinating black looks. Jen wore a floor-length bateau gown with sequin detailing at the sleeves by Ralph Lauren, paired with glossy Stuart Weitzman platform heels and a matching clutch. She accessorized simply with diamond stud earrings, and her glam included glossy red lips, dark eyes, and a wavy 'do.
Violet looked all grown up next to her mother. For the occasion, the 17-year-old wore a pretty Carolina Herrera dress with a heart-shaped metallic print, ample skirt, and delicate V-shaped neckline. She styled the piece with red pointed-toe pumps and a black-and-silver handbag. She further accessorized with long gold and red earrings and her go-to clear glasses. She also kept her glam simple, opting for a neat ballerina bun and natural, glossy makeup.
The state dinner fell on the even of Violet's 17th birthday.
Jen and Violet were amongst the 400 VIP guests at President Joe Biden and first lady Dr. Jill Biden's dinner. Others in attendance included French President Emmanuel Macron and wife Brigitte Macron, Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, singer John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen, and outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
In photos, Jen and Violet are seen holding hands while making their way to the dinner, with the 13 Going on 30 actress beaming at her eldest daughter.
Garner also shares daughter Seraphina Rose, 13, and son Samuel Garner, 10, with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
