Jenna Ortega and Martin Freeman Star in First Trailer for Miller’s Girl

Jade Halley Bartlett is making her directorial debut with Miller's Girl, a story about a creative writing assignment that yields complex results between a teacher and his talented student.

Starring Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega we watch a talented young writer embark on a creative odyssey when her teacher assigns a project that entangles them both in an increasingly complex web. As lines blur and their lives intertwine, professor and protégé must confront their darkest selves while straining to preserve their individual sense of purpose and the things they hold most dear.

The first trailer gives a taste of the dark and twisted tone, showcasing the intriguing pairing of Freeman and Ortega.

Dagmara Domińczyk, Bashir Salahuddin, and Gideon Adlon also join the cast, with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Josh Fagen and Mary-Margaret Kunze serving as producers.

Miller's Girl is set for a theatrical release on January 26, 2024, after its premiere at the Palm Springs Film Festival on January 11, 2024.
