You may be wondering exactly how Dewan looks as toned as she does. For one thing, being a professional dancer helps keep her fit. Jennifer Johnson, the star's trainer, told SELF that dancing is an amazing full-body workout.
"With dance, it's not the same movement over and over, like running or [indoor cycling]," Johnson told SELF. "You're jumping, you're squatting, you're on the floor, you're side-to-side, you're spinning, you're turning, and you constantly [change] directions and intensity of movement. And you're having so much fun that it's easier to get the cardio in."

She also likes to build muscle with strength training. “I want to build muscle, so I can pick up my daughter,” he star told Women’s Health. “Before, it used to be like, ‘I wanna get long, lean muscles.’ Now, I’m just like, ‘I wanna feel strong and good.’”
