Jeffree Star Claims Someone Tried to Extort Him For Money
After several weeks spent feuding with his new boyfriend's ex-girlfriends and addressing rumors about his relationship, Jeffree Star is now allegedly being extorted. 2020 really just won't quit with the drama.
Yesterday morning, the billionaire makeup mogul made claims on Twitter that someone has attempted to extort him, though he did not share the identity of the accused person.
"Good morning everyone! Woke up to someone trying to extort me for money... How are ya? This pandemic really has people acting crazy," Jeffree wrote.

This is the latest incident in a recent stream of reported crime against famous YouTubers. Back in April 2019, Jeffree himself claimed that his Jeffree Star Cosmetics warehouse was broken into and over $2.5 million in inventory was stolen (though police reports say only $10k was taken).
Last month, beauty vlogger NikkieTutorials was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in her own home after being allegedly blackmailed into coming out as a trans woman in January 2020. That same month, Shane Dawson released terrifying footage on his YouTube channel of an intruder seemingly attempting to break into his home.
Jeffree Star has requested that Seventeen not reach out to him for comment.
