Jamie Lee Curtis Proves She's Hollywood Royalty at the 2023 Oscars
See the 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' actress' red carpet look.
It isn't an award show without a Jamie Lee Curtis appearance.
And the 2023 Oscars was no different, as the Everything Everywhere All at Once actress hit the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif. on March 12. Dressed in a bedazzled floor-length gown, which she paired with striking jewelry, Curtis reminded us all why she's Hollywood royalty.
While the Halloween alum isn't a stranger to industry events, the 95th Academy Awards was different, as she attended as one of the night's big nominees. In January, Curtis was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work as Deirdre Beaubeirdre in 2022's Everything Everywhere All at Once.
She was up against Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's Angela Bassett, The Whale's Hong Chau, The Banshees of Inisherin's Kerry Condon, and Everything Everywhere All at Once co-star Stephanie Hsu.
On landing her first nomination after four decades in the business, Curtis noted in a January Instagram post, "It was never even in my wildest dream box. I have always felt very much like an outsider looking in and yet always so grateful for any and all opportunities I have had."
She continued, "Being a part of this beautiful movie, which just received so many acknowledgments for our talented, motley crew of artists, is the highlight of my professional life. As this is a movie about a family of immigrants and their struggles through life, immediately I'm thinking of my parents, children of immigrants from Hungary and Denmark, whose families came here and sacrificed for their children to achieve their dreams."
Curtis is the daughter of Hollywood legends Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh.
