Ivanka Trump tweets about Jacksonville mass shooting, and people are calling her out
President Trump’s daughter and special adviser to the president, Ivanka Trump, shared a short message about the tragic shooting in Jacksonville, Fla., today.
The shooting occurred during an esports tournament in which gamers competed by playing “Madden NFL 2019.” Based on video from the incident, the players were broadcasting their performances on Twitch, a live-streaming platform, when the gunshots began.
The “Madden” tournament was being held at the GLHF Game Bar next to Chicago Pizza. The Jacksonville Landing, which is located along the St. Johns River, is home to restaurants, stores, and live entertainment.
She tweeted a simple message, writing that “our hearts are with Jacksonville and all those affected.”
As we await further details, our hearts are with Jacksonville and all those affected by today’s tragic mass shooting. ??

The Twitter mob wasted no time in calling out Ivanka and her father’s perceived inaction on gun reform.
