Internet Has Mixed Reactions to Viral Video of Chris Brown Throwing Fan's Phone Into Crowd
Chris Brown has the internet talking...again.
Chris Brown is once again the talk of the town online.
The R&B singer, known for having a controversial past, sent the internet into a frenzy this week after a video circulated on TikTok, which showed him throwing a fan's phone into a crowd. Why? It seems Brown felt the fan wasn't paying enough attention to his show.
In the now-viral clip, Brown, 33, was performing a concert and invited a lucky fan on stage while he played "Take You Down." However, she seemed more interested in filming the moment than enjoying it.
The "Forever" artist was seen trying to get the woman to put her phone down, although she continued to film while Brown danced around her, and even while gave her a lap dance at one point.
When the woman still didn't put away her phone, Brown grabbed it from her hands and chucked it into the crowd, prompting the fan to throw her hands up in confusion. The lights were then turned off, putting an end to the situation.

Users online were divided by the situation, with many people coming to Brown's defense, claiming the woman was being "disrespectful."
"She's not even looking at him," one user in the comments noticed. Another wroter, "Omg put the phone down!!"
"You gotta live in the moment," a third chimed in, "being up there on your phone is so excessive."
"How did she even get picked to go up there," someone else wondered.
Others were more focused on the fact that Brown shouldn't have lashed out, regardless of the woman's behavior.
"There's way too many people defending his aggression," one person chimed in.
"She bought the ticket to be there and it's HER phone. If he didn't like it he could of had her leave the stage. Not throw her property," another person added.
"I want to know if he hit anyone with the phone...he chucked it hard," wrote someone else.
It wasn't all negative, however. Some users on TikTok claim the woman got her phone back eventually.
