Inside SFMOMA's 2022 Art Bash
The people-watching is always a treat inside SFMOMA’s annual Art Bash, and this season’s festivities showcased a crowd as vibrant and eclectic as the art on the gallery walls. Among the guests dining on savory asparagus panna cotta at the Sarah Cain-designed tablescapes: Power-couple collectors Alka and Ravin Agrawal, and Randi and Bob Fisher (chairman of the boards at both the museum and Gap, Inc.), not to mention Susan Swig, Sonya Yu, TikTok fashion chameleon Clara Perlmutter, art advisor Sabrina Buell, and designer Yves Béhar. The event was expected to raise more than $2 million to support SFMOMA education and community engagement programs. In a nod to the futuristic Silicon Valley donors in attendance, an NFT of a Tilda Swinton film was auctioned off for a cool $9,000.
