Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods still talk, but a full-blown reconciliation, according to People's and E!'s new reports, is never ever going to happen, like ever. The outlets detailed how Jenner came to the decision gradually and what a struggle it was for her at first to give up her closest friend.
Initially, Jenner "didn’t want to make any harsh decisions when it came to Jordyn [following the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal],” a source told People.
It was really, really hard for Jenner at first to give up Woods. “For a long time, it seemed like Kylie wasn’t sure what would happen with their friendship," People's source said. "It was very difficult for Kylie to just cut Jordyn out of life. Kylie was devastated at first. Jordyn was her confidant for so long. When Kylie was hiding her pregnancy from the world, Jordyn spent almost every day with her."
But ultimately, not having Woods has made Jenner's life better. “Kylie has had a very hard time moving on from their friendship. But not being able to rely on Jordyn’s friendship has actually been great for Kylie," the outlet's source explained, pointing out that Jenner has become closer with other women in her life, including other mothers. With those loyal people in her life, Jenner has less of a need for Woods being her ultimate best friend. And honestly, a Jenner-Woods best friendship just isn't going to happen again after all the drama, People's source said.
“Kylie is still in contact with Jordyn occasionally, but they are never going to be best friends ever again,” the source explained. “Kylie has moved on and seems very happy."
E! had some additional details on what Jenner and Woods's friendship is like these days. The outlet described it as just an acquaintanceship, actually, so it's been very downgraded. "Kylie texts with Jordyn occasionally but is not going to let her back in or be close with her. She's put the whole ordeal behind her," its source said.
