Time to get the red, white, and blue out of your wardrobe because 4th of July is here. Independence Day is on Thursday, with the Augusta area's biggest public firework shows scheduled for Thursday.
Augusta's Independence Day Celebration is July 4 at the Augusta Common on the 800 block of Broad Street. Fun kicks off at 5 p.m. with live entertainment, kid zones, food trucks, and vendors. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Boom! In the Park is July 4 at Evans Towne Center Park at 7016 Evans Towne Center Blvd. Gates open at 5 p.m. There will be food trucks, live music, and a fireworks/laser show.
