Huh, Tiffany Trump Also Wore White to President Trump's State of the Union Address
Tiffany Trump, daughter of President Donald Trump, showed up to Tuesday night's State of the Union address wearing all white-the same color dozens of Democratic Congresswomen wore as a sign of solidarity with the suffragette movement.
The Congresswomen were invited to wear white to the evening's address by the House Democratic Women's Working Group. Rep. Lois Frankel, the chair of the group, previously told CNN, "Wearing suffragette white is a respectful message of solidarity with women across the country, and a declaration that we will not go back on our hard-earned rights."
A number of Democratic Congresswomen, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar, and Rep. Madeleine Dean, also wore white to their swearing-in ceremony earlier this month. Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter that she was wearing white to "honor the women who paved the path before me, and for all the women yet to come. From suffragettes to Shirley Chisholm, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the mothers of the movement." Hillary Clinton memorably wore a white pantsuit to give her speech at the DNC.
But Tiffany Trump wasn't the only surprise showing of solidarity. Donald Trump Jr. tweeted out a photo before the address, showing that former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle also wore white to the evening's event:

And don't forget, in another head scratching move, it was Melania Trump who wore a white pantsuit to her husband's SOTU last year.
