Hugh Jackman Returns to His 'Oklahoma' Roots With Outdoorsy New Snap
Hugh Jackman isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, and his latest snaps on social media are proof.
This week, the actor brought his fans back to his Oklahoma! days while channeling his cowboy character, Curly McLain, in a new set of outdoorsy pics.
The 54-year-old Tony Award winner famously starred in The National Theatre's 1998 production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, and it appears that he still has some shared traits with his former onstage counterpart.
In his newest Instagram post, Jackman was seen getting in touch with his outdoorsy side, as he showed off his green thumb while gathering some flowers for a local harvest farm.
Jackman was dressed casually for the day, wearing work boots and none other than a cowboy hat, of course.

The Greatest Showman star spent the day volunteering at Share the Harvest Farm in East Hampton, New York. He captioned his carousel post with the message, "Thank you for a wonderful day @sharetheharvestfarm!"
The farm's Instagram page also shared Jackman's post to their own Story on Tuesday, telling their followers, "Be like Hugh...Come volunteer!"
Plenty of fans in the comments applauded Jackman's effort to help out on the farm, though it was his husky appearance that seemed to capture the most attention.
"Lovely country man??" one fan said of the Australian actor, while someone else joked, "Here he go, the ecological cowboy ??."
"I always knew...Wolverine is a gentleman," someone else quipped in reference to his X-Men character.
