Hot dogs, cool cats: Adoptable pets from Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter

Pauline
Pauline

Pauline, an almost 5-year-old spayed female, is among the cats available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. May 6 marks one year of searching for her forever family with the Tuscarawas County Humane Society. Pauline is a sweet girl. Like many kitties, she doesn't enjoy being picked up, but will come to you for attention. She loves having her cheeks rubbed. Originally abandoned in a carrier with three other cats, she is the last of the crew waiting for her forever home.

Nakita

Nakita, a 7.5-year-old spayed female Husky, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter. Nakita is full of personality. True to her breed, she can be very vocal and will share her opinions with a howl. She loves to play and would enjoy an active family. To set Nakita up for success and a true forever family, her adoption requires an experienced dog owner preferably with knowledge on the Husky breed, and she will not be housed with small children or cats. Adoption hours at the shelter are 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Shelter is closed Thursday. The phone number is 330-343-6060 and the website is www.tuschumanesociety.com.
