Can you give a home to Summer, the Beaver County Humane Society's 'Dog of The Week'?
(Dog of The Week is a regular feature by the Beaver County Humane Society seeking forever homes for adoptable dogs.)
Hi there, I’m Summer! I’m a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier. I weigh 43 pounds and have been at the shelter since May.
As my name suggests, I would love to do all of the summer activities with you. Want to go camping? I’ll keep you warm! Are you having a cookout? I’ll bring the hot dogs! Take me home and your life will become an endless vacation.
I am very flexible about what my forever home looks like. I would like to meet any kids or other dogs that would be in the house, but I think I would do OK with them.
I am the coolest dog around – even in this heat!
Here’s what a staff member has to say about Summer:
“Summer is such a sweet and personable little lady. She loves to be around people and other dogs. When you enter her yard, she is very quick to run up and greet you with a wagging tail. She came to us as a stray, so we don’t know what her previous life was like. What we do know is that this girl is easygoing, affectionate and adventurous.”
