Hollywood Actresses Want You to Wear Black Today, Too
By now, you've probably seen that actresses and actors are planning to wear black to the Golden Globes in a show of protest against sexual harassment in Hollywood. However, they want the movement to spread beyond the confines of the red carpet, and several actresses have posted powerful calls-to-action, encouraging fans to share their own "blackout" pictures to social media.
Daredevil star Rosario Dawson was one of the first actresses to encourage people everywhere to join the movement. In her Instagram video on Saturday, she explained, “The death knell has struck on abusive power, and it’s time to celebrate each other—not just the nominees on our film and television screens but our storytellers who have bravely come forward and courageously shared their stories which have liberated so many of us.”

Eva Longoria reposted Dawson's message, adding, "Everyone can join in tomorrow and post a pic of yourself in Black standing in solidarity with women everywhere trying to fight the imbalance of power!"
