This hilarious video of a grandmother getting stuck behind a dryer has the internet laughing
The latest video to brighten people’s day across the internet is a six-minute adventure in which a grandmother gets stuck behind a clothes dryer.
The video, perfectly named “Gagi gets stuck behind dryer,” has received more than 5 million views on Facebook. You’ll have to watch it for yourself to see the antics progress, but suffice it to say, there’s almost a bathroom incident in a very small space.
The Knoxville, Tenn.-based family is enjoying the unexpected spotlight. “We are so surprised!” Emily McDaneld, who shot the video, tells Yahoo Lifestyle of the overwhelming reaction to it. “We really only shared the video for our friends and family to see, but it is so cool to see how many people are finding joy in our family fun.”
Hundreds of commenters have also reached out on Facebook to share in the family’s Funniest Home Videos moment. “This is what FAMILY looks like!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH US!!!” wrote one commenter. “Very funny. Really good spirits in these individuals too. Brilliant,” agreed another.
McDaneld confirms that her grandmother, aka “Gagi,” is out from behind the dryer, safe and sound: “Gagi is just so thankful that she has been able to bring some laughter to a hurting world.”
