HGTV Is Airing Its White House Christmas Special This Week, and You Won't Want to Miss It
If you have plans for the evening of Sunday, December 10th, now's the time to reconsider. Instead, get cozy with the family and flip on the TV. At 6:00pm EST, Alison Victoria will host HGTV's "White House Christmas." During the fifteenth consecutive airing of the special, viewers will get an insider's tour of all the festive decorations within the walls of our nation's storied White House.

So far, we've seen a peek into First Lady Melania Trump's design vision, which revolves around the theme "Time-Honored Traditions." Now, on the 10th, viewers will get to tour the home and step inside The Blue Room (where the official White House Christmas Tree stands), The Red Room, and East Colonnade, and watch all of their seasonal tidings come together. Viewers will also learn more about The White House crèche (or Nativity scene)—now on its 50th annual display—and the famed gingerbread White House, a traditional holiday spectacle, this year led by executive pastry chef Susan Morrison.
If this isn't an excuse to make a batch of festive Christmas cookies and relax on the couch Sunday night, we don't know what is.
