Survivor 44's third episode marked a week in the game, and a lot has been happening. Fake idols have been hidden and found across multiple camps. Even what seems to be the most formidable tribes are showing cracks in their armor. And the vote came down to a classic dilemma between challenges and trust.

Who got voted off on Survivor 44 tonight?

Claire Rafson

Claire's time on Survivor 44 was punctuated by her sitting, fitting for the self-proclaimed Chief Laziness Czar. But that title came back to bite her when, after Soka lost the Immunity Challenge, Danny and Josh targeted her as a possible liability for sitting out every challenge. Claire didn't go down without a fight, though, concocting a plan with Frannie to swing over Heidi and vote out Josh. And at Tribal Council, she continued to find any saving grace when she played her Shot in the Dark. But Soka went with strength over loyalty, voting Claire out unanimously.

Were any advantages found or played on Survivor 44 tonight?

A lot of the action of the first half of the episode revolved around fake idols. Matt found one he believed he was real, when it turned out to be the fake idol that Danny found last week in the birdcage. Jaime also found an idol by the well with Matthew. But it turned out Matthew was in possession of the real idol, having acquired it two days ago. He made a fake idol off beads from his torch, which is what Jaime found. Claire also played her Shot in the Dark, but failed to secure safety.
