Here's how you can take part in the 2024 Earth Stewardship Celebration in Richland County
The 28th annual Earth Stewardship Celebration is taking place April 1 through Aug. 1. This program celebrates Earth Day, Arbor Day, Soil Stewardship Week and Planting Pride throughout the Richland County area.
The Earth Stewardship Celebration is an opportunity for residents, churches, nonprofits, businesses, schools, government agencies and other groups to show their commitment to a sustainable community by scheduling and conducting a litter cleanup, beautification project, tree planting or recycling project.
The celebration also includes the 13th annual Earth Stewardship Take Pride Contest, which offers several awards.

Register and complete a project in the Richland County area by Aug. 1. Photos must be submitted by Aug. 4. All participating groups will receive public recognition, and all participants will be entered into a drawing to win prizes.
