Heidi Klum Suffers Gnarly Leg Cut After 'AGT' Fall
Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum appears to be on the mend after she took a tumble while filming America's Got Talent: Fantasy League.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday, Oct. 22, left the 50-year-old supermodel with a sizable gash across her left calf.
Her co-star Howie Mandel documented the immediate aftermath for fans, sharing a video of the medics attending to Klum as she was seated at the judges' table on his Instagram page.
"Heidi Klum just fell," Mandel said before fellow judge Mel B chimed in, adding, "There's blood everywhere."
When Mandel, 67, asked if she was okay, Klum, deadpan to the camera, responded, "I don't know."
"We have to go, we're in the middle of taping, she took a fall," Mandel said as the medics bandaged Klum up. "Tell them you're ok!"
"I'm okay," Klum shared, "I'm so glad no one saw this."
While fans may not have seen what led to Klum's gnarly injury, she made sure they were present for the aftermath, later sharing a few gruesome updates via her Instagram Story.
In a clip she posted later that evening, Klum panned over the deep cut as a doctor attended to the open wound.
"It doesn't even look that bad, though," the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star shared before she was interrupted by the medical professional wiping and squeezing the cut.
"Oooh," she yelped in discomfort. "Why do you have to squeeze it like that doctor?"
"I'm closing it," the practitioner responded.
Klum then followed up with another video posted to her Story, documenting the rest of the medic's process, which included cleaning out the "disgusting" cut with color-free iodine–something Klum said "burned" as the doctor disinfected the area.
A third clip then showed the medic applying what the TV personality referred to as "super glue," which was really a special medical glue used to close the wound as an alternative to stitches.
Klum concluded her posts about the ordeal with a calm video of her relaxing in bed with her leg up and wrapped with a bandage–just as the doctor (probably) ordered.
Thankfully, the injury doesn't look bad enough to prevent Klum from working on the rest of the series, though she likely is a bit sore.
