Harry & Meghan Were Just Given the Sweetest Gift by Children in Sussex
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have had a busy day so far during their trip to Sussex.
When they got married on May 19, Harry and Meghan were given the titles the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. As such, today's trip marks an important milestone for the couple, as explore their namesake county. And during their first stop on today's trip, Harry and Meghan met with schoolchildren in Sussex who'd made the royals an extra special gift.
Before the royals visited Edes House to see Sussex's rare copy of America's Declaration of Independence, Meghan and Harry chatted at length with children who were waiting patiently for the royals to arrive. And to make the trip unforgettable, the group of children presented Meghan with an A to Z of Sussex:
In fact, it was the children that came out to welcome Harry and Meghan that seemed the most excited out of anyone in the crowd. They all waved flags as the Duke and Duchess greeted them:
At one point, Meghan even told one of the children, "Thanks, that's very cool." And in this video, you can see the attention the Duchess makes sure she gives to every child who has waited to meet her, which is beyond adorable:
Following on from their trip to Chichester, Meghan and Harry stopped off in Bognor Regis to help open Chichester University's Technology Park. Upon arrival, Meghan took off her cream coat, and looked effortlessly chic in her dark green skirt and shirt combo:
