Mansur Gavriel Taps Trans Model Hari Nef For New Ads
Known for its minimalist designs and fondness for under-the-radar models, Mansur Gavriel has broken its status quo by tapping Hari Nef as the new face of the brand.
Nef is a well-known figure in the trans community, an activist and breakout star on the show Transparent. In the fashion realm, she's walked for Gucci, Hood by Air and H&M, and is the first transgender model to sign with IMG.
"We think Hari is very beautiful, and were excited to shoot her. She is real and has great energy," the Mansur Gavriel designers said in a statement.
