Happy 97th Birthday, 7-Eleven! Here's how to celebrate with a free Slurpee

7-Eleven sweetens its birthday celebration with more ways to delight in tasty treats. This year the popular convenience retailer chain has a few special offers for customers visiting on Thursday, July 11 (7/11).

The franchise will give all customers, who visit a participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes store, a FREE small Slurpee.

This free giveaway marks the 97th anniversary in celebration of the annual holiday — Slurpee Day.

"Slurpee Day is our annual celebration of 7-Eleven's birthday and our iconic frozen drink; it's a day of joy, community and good old-fashioned summer fun," said Marissa Jarratt, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer at 7-Eleven, Inc.

But there is more.

7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can enter to win a year supply of drinks, snacks and Slurpee by shopping participating products like CELSIUS energy drinks during the Sips and Snack Sweepstakes. And members who scan their rewards information on Slurpee Day will get a coupon for one free small Slurpee drink to redeem before July 31, according to the press release.

7-Eleven will also release a special edition Slurpee drink cup designed by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals National Champion, Nolan. The Slurpee cup will aim to bring hope to other pediatric cancer patients.

"We are thrilled to share the nostalgia and create new memories with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and our customers who cherish this tradition so dearly," said Jarratt.

This offer is only valid on 7/11/24 and is available while supplies last at participating 7-Eleven, Stripes and Speedway stores.
