Hannah Ann Sluss Says ‘Viewers Missed Out’ on What Really Went Down After Her ‘Bachelor’ Engagement
Hannah Ann Sluss is sharing behind-the-scenes details about what The Bachelor producers left out of the finale, and all we have to say is…yikes, Peter Weber.
The 23-year-old recently appeared on an episode of former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast, Off the Vine. While discussing her engagement with Weber, Hannah Ann admitted that the show favored his connection with Madison Prewett.
Although she knew the relationship would be a lot of work, Hannah Ann was disappointed that viewers didn’t get to see that Weber was 100 percent committed to her after the proposal, since the majority of the footage focused on the breakup—not the engagement.
“After we got engaged and then I found out about me being the only girl left, I thought, ‘Oh, this is going to be hard to work through,’” she said. “But I was very committed to making it work. Viewers missed out on seeing our connection and seeing, you know, how in love we were at that time.”
Hannah Ann confirmed that the breakup “didn’t come out of nowhere” but revealed that she didn’t have anyone to turn to while the show was airing.
“I’m, like, grieving the loss of the future I thought I had with him,” she said. “And no one can know about it. No one can know that everyday I’m hurting … I’ll be out to lunch with my friends and go to the bathroom and just cry and pretend like everything’s fine… I felt so betrayed by him.”
Us, too, Hannah Ann. Us, too.
