Halle Berry’s favorite haircare product costs just $17—and she says her daughter introduced it to her.
After using a ton of different creams, the Bruised star and director now prefers Naturelab. Tokyo Perfect Shine Oil Mist.
“It has a nice shine and smell to it,” Berry, 55, said in a recent interview. “I love what it has done for my texture—I’m really impressed with it.”
Whether she’s stepping onto the red carpet, directing her debut feature, or hitting the gym, Halle Berry is guaranteed to look great—and a huge aspect of her flawless look is her hair. Now, we know one of the (surprisingly affordable) products behind her perpetually photogenic locks.
In a new interview with The Strategist, Berry, 55, revealed that she’s a big fan of Naturelab. Tokyo Perfect Shine Oil Mist. “My daughter introduced me to this product, actually,” the Bruised director-star, who has naturally curly hair, said. “I love what it has done for my texture—I’m really impressed with it.”
The Japanese brand is already a favorite among celebrity hairstylists—in fact, tennis champion Naomi Osaka’s bold Met Gala look earlier this year relied on the Berry-approved Perfect Shine Oil Mist—but despite its pedigree, it’s still remarkably affordable.
“I used to use a lot of different creams, but I wanted to try this oil,” the actress said. “It’s very light, so it doesn’t weigh my hair down like some creams can with naturally curly hair. It has a nice shine and smell to it, too.”
Berry is far from alone in her praise for the hair oil—in fact, it boasts over 1,000 perfect five-star ratings on Amazon. “This shine mist truly is perfect—as it states,” one reviewer raves. “It does not weigh my hair down, and makes it feel so soft and silky! The scent is also amazing.”
“I have dry, curly hair and have used many shine sprays in the past,” another explains. “Most have felt weird and way too oily on my hair (even though my hair is super dry), or had a weird smell, but this spray is perfect. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it look weird, and it smells amazing. I love it and finally found a keeper!”
“It sinks into my hair right away, so I don’t feel it at all, but my hair’s left super shiny and soft, and it’s just really a good product,” writes yet another reviewer, who uses it after straightening. “I’d definitely give it a shot if you haven’t. I’ve already purchased two backups. Amazing price point, too.”
