Arriving at Soho House in Malibu, Calif., the model went for a casual ’90s-style ensemble in a black crop top matched to cuffed mom jeans. She included her go-to face mask from Bieber’s Drew House brand as well for a protective pop of color.
On her feet, the media personality opted for a slouchy design complete with a scrunchie-style black loose strap. Secured with elasticated bands, the sandals also featured a stable block heel design along with a trending square-toe cut. Square-toe footwear experienced a revitalization last summer amongst celebrity style stars, spotted on the likes of Kylie Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski and more throughout the past few months. The revamp of the retro footwear falls in line with a growth of ’90s and 2000s-inspired trends like thong-toe footwear, tie-dye apparel and low-rise bottoms to name a few.
Baldwin’s choice comes from Wandler’s pre-fall ’20 collection and includes an almost 4-inch heel. The Ava mule retails for $454 and is available now at Farfetch.com.
As for her husband, musician Justin Bieber, his outfit of choice leaned more of the casual side in a plain cream T-shirt, a pink beanie and sweat shorts from Fear of God Essentials — the bottoms once sold for $70 but now resell for upwards of $274 to $452 on StockX.com.
The “Yummy” singer looped in a hit of color with his sneakers of the day. The Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 silhouette comes from a collaborative effort with professional skateboarder Nyjah Huston; the design includes mesh panels to help feet stay cool along with a unique outsole that provides a broken-in feel right out of the box. The low-top pair retails for $95 and is available in both men’s and women’s sizing at Nike.com.
Bieber founded his brand Drew House in early 2019 and has since expanded the business to include loungewear, apparel and hotel-style soft slippers. Aside from wearing his own pieces, they have also been spotted on his wife and stars such as Millie Bobby Brown, who can’t get enough of her Drew House footwear.
Typically, the singer can also be found in must-have sneakers from the likes of Off-White, New Balance and Nike with a few more dressed-up silhouettes from Gucci among others — but his true footwear passion centers around the colorful rubber uppers of Crocs.
As for his wife, Baldwin’s shoe closet includes an eclectic mix. Aside from her Air Force 1s, she’s also been spotted wearing sneakers from Chanel, Off-White and the Nike x Fear of God collab, as well as heels from Tabitha Simmons, Bottega Veneta and Jimmy Choo. She has also appeared in marketing campaigns for brands such as Guess, Zadig & Voltaire, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. What’s more, in 2016, the A-lister joined forces with Ugg, starring in the label’s Classic Street Collection campaign for fall ’16.
