Gucci is selling a $490 swimsuit that you can't swim in

Gucci is selling a swimsuit with the brand’s iconic logo on it for $490 — and the price-tag isn’t the only ridiculous thing about the one-piece.

According to the description of the “V-Neck Logo Swimsuit In Ivory, White,” the suit is made of 80 percent nylon, 20 percent elastane and the lining is composed of 73 percent nylon and 27 percent elastane. The care instructions advise the item be hand washed and shouldn’t be used in a pool. “Due to the nature of this particular fabric, this swimsuit should not come into contact with chlorine,” the Gucci website reads.

The Italian clothing company styled the ivory sparkling lyrca swimsuit with a pair of mom jeans, purple socks, black and gold heels, and a black biker jacket.

So isn’t it just a leotard?
