Grimes Confirms Her Pregnancy, and Says She Was "Woefully Ill-Prepared"

The singer confirmed that she's pregnant in a revealing post detailing how she was "woefully ill prepared" for pregnancy.
Grimes has been dating Elon Musk since early 2018.
It was previously unclear if Grimes was really pregnant after the singer shared a series of NSFW pregnancy pics on Instagram. But now, Elon Musk's girlfriend has confirmed the status of her pregnancy in an intimate social media post.
Taking to social media, Grimes joked about the world's uncertainty regarding her pregnancy by asking, "Fake or real?" But the artist soon made it clear that she is, in fact, expecting her first child. Although she didn't reveal the identity of the baby's father, we're guessing it's probably Musk as the couple has been dating since April 2018.
She continued, "Haha. Wow I’m starting to feel bad haha... how do y’all cope with working and having a baby?? I’m sorry I haven’t been promoting my album properly or on social media more. This whole thing has been a bit of an ordeal."
The singer then went on to detail the most difficult aspects of her pregnancy to date:
"Had some complications early on, a decent second trimester but starting to hurt everywhere at 25 wksz. What were yalls experience w this stuff like? I feel like I was woefully ill prepared cuz I dunno if pregnancy is as visible or discussed as it should be. I just didn’t rly understand what I was getting into. It’s been good too, but it makes working a lot harder. Good at writing and having lots of wild ideas tho, but anything physical is hard. Im also way more emo and less capable of bravery in the face of haters online and stuff haha. But my albums out in a sec so I prob need to get back on here. Don’t mind my emo energy, but curious what other ppls experience was like ???? I didn’t even google it, I was just like sure y not hahaha smh."
Luckily, boyfriend Musk probably has some helpful parenting tips to share, as he is already a dad to five—twin boys Griffin and Xavier, and triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai.
