Grilled cheese lovers can try tons of sandwiches at festival near downtown Sacramento
(FOX40.COM) — A weekend will be dedicated to cheesy goodness at the Sacramento Grilled Cheese Festival.
The festival is taking place on April 27-28 at Southside Park.
Saturday, April 27 will be limited to adults ages 21 and over and starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Grilled cheese lovers can enjoy unlimited samples of specialty grilled cheese sandwiches, craft beers, wines, and desserts, according to the event’s website.

Tickets for the April 27 event are $75 for general admission while VIP admission is $95. Attendees with VIP tickets can enter the event an hour early.
Sunday, April 28 is open for all ages and is taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees can purchase sandwich samples directly from participating restaurants, the event’s website reads. The Sunday event will also have free kid’s activities.
Admission is $10 for the Sunday event while kids 5 and under can get inside for free. A quarter of a sandwich, beer, soda, and water will be available for purchase on-site.
