Green River making bourbon for Dierks Bentley
Green River Distilling has added more star power.
It recently made bourbon for Terry Bradshaw and Alan Jackson’s brands.
Now, it’s added Dierks Bentley to the list.
His ROW 94 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey will launch this month in Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Colorado and Arizona and at ROW94whiskey.com.
ROW refers to Nashville’s Music Row and 1994 was the year Bentley moved to Nashville to pursue his dreams.
He said, “I knew I wanted 94 proof because I like some bite, and that I wanted it aged for at least four years since that’s when it starts to taste best to me.”
It’s made with 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% rye and 9% malted and row barley.
? Parlor Doughnuts, founded in Evansville in 2019, is opening its Owensboro location at 2876 Heartland Crossing from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
It features layered doughnuts, specialty coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

? A study by Potamkin Hyundai found that Kentucky’s long-distance commuters are the eighth unhealthiest in the country.
Two-thirds said they choose their routes based on the availability of fast food drive-thru options.
They reported consuming an average of 420 calories during a single commute.
And 83% said they regularly consume junk food when commuting.
Maryland ranked as the state with the most unhealthy commuters.
Ninety-two% of those ate junk food on their commute.
New Hampshire was the healthiest with only 43% eating junk food.
