GMA Fans Are So Happy for Robin Roberts After Seeing Her Instagram Post
Good Morning America's Robin Roberts has something exciting up her sleeve — and fans are super pumped for it.
This week, the 60-year-old ABC News journalist shared the trailer for her upcoming Disney+ show Turning the Tables on her Instagram page. Premiering on July 28, the roundtable series will feature Robin hosting intimate talks about a multitude of topics with "groups of incredible women" every episode.
Sharing the news with her fans, Robin's followers immediately started commenting on her Instagram post about how excited they are to watch the series in July. "This looks FANTASTIC!!!! More Robin and interesting conversations with these amazing women??? Yes please! Can’t wait," one fan wrote. "????????Congrats on your newest endeavor??????," another said. "SO EXCITED ????????????," someone else exclaimed.
So far, the Turning the Tables confirmed guests include Debbie Allen, Sofia Carson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenna Dewan, Sheila E., Melissa Etheridge, Mickey Guyton, Betsey Johnson, Billie Jean King, Tig Notaro, Raven-Symoné and Josie Totah. NBA star LeBron James will be an executive producer of the series via his entertainment brand The SpringHill Company.
Per a press release, we also know that the series will be four episodes long. The idea of each discussion is for Robin to interview each guest and have "heartfelt and often humorous conversations that showcase authenticity and vulnerability." The thing is, though, at the same time, these celebrities can "turn the tables" on Robin and ask her to answer the same thought-provoking question.
"This project is very personal to me, and I'm proud to bring it to Disney+," Robin said in the press release. "The guests we've assembled are an amazing group of women who have all achieved great success in their various careers. Although they represent different age groups and backgrounds, they were all willing to open up and share their unique stories with honesty and humor. I welcome viewers to come along with me on this journey as we learn about the importance of expressing vulnerability and connecting with others."
Don't know about you, but we sure can't wait to watch this!
