Hey, peaches! Ginny & Georgia is finally back, and it was certainly worth the wait. The wild mother-daughter series that feels like the ultimate Gilmore Girls/Big Little Lies crossover returned for its second season, and things got more intense than ever. So…is Ginny & Georgia actually coming back for a third season?
We sure hope so! The show has a massive fan base that hasn’t let up as fans learned what happened after Ginny skipped town with her brother. But after season 2’s wild ending, it certainly seems like the writers have plans for another season if it gets the green light from Netflix.
When will we find out if Ginny & Georgia has been renewed?
As with all things over at Netflix, it’s going to be a little bit of a wait as the streamer takes stock of how well the show does. Hopefully, Ginny & Georgia season 2 continues to stay on top for the next few weeks, as that would increase its chances of getting renewed.
What would season 3 be about?
Honestly, the Ginny & Georgia season 2 finale had us wondering if it was the end of the show, period…until the final plot twist. Georgia finally got her fairy-tale wedding to Paul at city hall after coming clean to him about her entire past. Deciding to stand by her, he got a lawyer and a cop to help him leave town and protect his new wife.
However, while the couple enjoyed their first dance, the cops barged into their ceremony and arrested the bride for Tom Fuller’s murder. And of course, Gabriel was there (because he was the one who called the cops about Georgia possibly killing him).
This obviously causes a huge scene as Austin panics and shouts that he didn’t tell anyone, kind of confirming to everyone else that he knows something happened. So now Ginny, Paul, and the rest of the crew have to figure out a way to clear her name (even though, ya know, she actually did kill him).
When would Ginny & Georgia season 3 come out?
It took almost two years for the show’s second season to debut, but there’s typically a longer wait between seasons 1 and 2 in a Netflix series. Hopefully, it won’t be too long because we need to know what happens next ASAP!
