'Full House' Stars Reunite For Jodie Sweetin’s Wedding
The cast of Full House and Fuller House had a reason to celebrate this weekend as their co-star Jodie Sweetin tied the knot!
The 40-year-old, who is best known for her role as the middle child (Stephanie Tanner) in the family favorite TV comedies, just got married to longtime partner Mescal Wasilewski.
Wasilewski isn't a name fans will recognize from Hollywood, but according to his LinkedIn profile his works as a therapist for an at-home addiction and mental health treatment center.
Fellow cast member Candace Cameron Bure shared images of the Sweetin's special day on Instagram.
The series of sweet shots included a snap of Bure with Sweetin and Andrea Barber (who played Kimmy Gibbler in both the original series and its sequel), as well as a few postnuptial pictures of Sweetin and Wasilewski as they walked down the aisle of their outdoor wedding.
Both Sweetin and Barber wrote back on Bure's Instagram post; "Yaaaaay love these ??????," the bride wrote while an adoring Barber exclaimed: "Love love love love LOVE!!! ??????"
Along with Bure and Barber, Full House co-star John Stamos was also in attendance.
PEOPLE shared exclusive photos of the ceremony, including the emotional moment Wasilewski saw Sweetin walking down the aisle toward him.
Before the wedding, Sweetin told the publication, "The moment I'm most excited about is, one, walking down the aisle, and the moment I see him," referring to her now-husband.
The ceremony took place in Wasilewski's brother's backyard in Malibu, California, and Sweetin's friend, Sara Landon, who owns the company Sara Landon Events, planned the whole thing.
The celebration looked to be a small affair that included just family and close friends.
So small, in fact, that one confused fan mistook the post as promotion for production of Netflix's continuation of the original series, Fuller House, which ran for five seasons before its cancellation in 2020.
"When I saw the first photo, my thought was 'huh? I don’t remember this episode, wait is a new season happening?…' hahaha."
Nope, no new seasons to share–just lots of love for Sweetin and her husband!
