Friday fun in downtown Petoskey
PETOSKEY — It was a busy Friday in Petoskey on July 26 as several events were taking place at the same time.
Downtown streets were closed for the first day of the 60th annual Sidewalk Sales, where stores set up their wares outside with plenty of special deals for shoppers.

The Petoskey High School robotics team also had a dunk tank and face painting booth available for some extra fun.
At the same time, the Downtown Petoskey Farmers Market was in full swing with fresh produce, flowers and more for sale.
Fresh berries and peaches were among the most popular purchases for shoppers making their way through the market on Friday morning.

The Friends' Summer Used Book Sale at the Petoskey District Library was also underway on Friday, with thousands of discounted books available in the library’s lower level.
