Frenchie Turns Into a Total Drama King During Routine Visit to the Vet
There is one day of the year that every pet owner dreads — the day you take your animal to the vet. Sure, it's possible to have a totally chill dog or cat that won't cause a scene. But if your dog is anything like one French Bulldog on TikTok, you're probably dealing with a total drama king.
The Frenchie really was going for an Oscar while at the veterinarian's office recently.
In the video, the poor vet techs had to hold the dog still while they pre-medicated him. And let's just say he wasn't going to get pre-medicated quietly. The French Bulldog might've been small, but the noise that came out of his mouth was anything but. He wailed like he'd been seriously hurt. Meanwhile all of the technicians couldn't stop laughing.

"Yes, he's okay. He's just being a Frenchie," the video's onscreen caption states.
The comments section couldn't stop laughing. "When my wife touches my body with her ice-ridden feet as she crawls into bed," joked one person. "Husband and I [were] in waiting room wondering what is someone’s velociraptor screaming about. It was our Frenchie getting blood drawn," a second commenter shared. "My Frenchie had a procedure and we got a call to pick up early post-op because he was 'singing the song of his people' and disturbing the other patients," a third person added.
The Most Dramatic Dog Breeds
Okay, okay. Let's not judge too quickly. Yes Frenchies tend to overreact, but let's get real — they aren't the only breeds to over do the theatrics.
Siberian Huskies might be able to brave the cold, but that might be the only thing they're fearless against. These pups are known for being very vocal and are known for throwing "tantrums" when they don't get their way.
Despite being absolutely adorable, Beagles are also notorious for being a wee bit dramatic. This is partially instinctual. Bred to be scent hounds, Beagles won't give up when they pick up on an interesting scent. These dogs will make loud baying or howling sounds when they're unhappy.
German Shepherds are another breed that can really amp up the theatrics. These dogs tend to be loyal and protective over their families — so much so that they can take things too far. German Shepherds can leap into action at signs of even the smallest threat. They can also be pretty darn attention-seeking when they want to be. Making them emotive breed.
Sure it's not ideal for your dog to act up in public, but it does make for some very funny memories.
