Frankenstein's Monster Pumpkin Stencil
Simple carved details (like neck bolts and forehead stitches) make this adorable monster unmistakable. You can achieve these remarkable results in just three easy steps! Pro tip: If your pumpkin is too big or small to fit our printed stencil, use a photocopier to resize the image.
To carve:
1. Clean out your pumpkin with an ice cream scoop, scraping the pumpkin flesh thinnest on the side you're planning to carve the design.
2. Tape the printed stencil pattern to the pumpkin. Use a push pin or spiked tracing wheel to make closely spaced pricks along the stencil lines, piercing through the paper into the surface of the pumpkin.
3. Tear off the printed stencil. Use a thin crafts knife to carve along the pin prick lines, cutting completely through the side of the pumpkin.
