Winland’s Catering & Concessions
Winland’s Catering & Concessions isn’t a truck — it’s a conglomeration of several food concession trailers where you can grab a cheesesteak, hot dog, plate of nachos, or super pork tenderloin sandwich from at a variety of events in and around Muskingum County.
This group is quite good at posting where they’ll be and with what concession trailer on their Facebook page if you have a hankering for something and need to know where they’ll be next.
Their concession trailers include The Crazy Kernel Kettle Corn truck, the Super Steak Pork Tenderloin truck, Freedom Fries, and Hot Dog on a Stick.
The menus are self-explanatory and with more than 2,000 followers keeping an eye on where they’ll be next, it’s a bet they’re worth your time when you see them out and about.
Smoke Therapy Craft BBQ
The Smoke Therapy Craft BBQ food truck is excellent at keeping their more than 1,400 followers up to date on Facebook about where they’re going to be and when. And not only do they have a food truck, but they offer catering services as well.
They offer a classic barbecue menu that you’d expect to find at a joint like this including pulled pork and chicken and chopped brisket. You can get that in a basket with two sides from the menu including coleslaw, smoked beans, green beans, smoked mac and cheese, or jalapeno cornbread. The meats can also be put in a sandwich, including one called the Holy Cow, which features your sandwich stacked with all three meats.
This food truck, which won 2022’s and 2023’s Taste of Muskingum Best Chef’s titles, also has two specialties: The Haystack, which is smoked mac n cheese and beans topped with your choice of meat, and the Texas Tater, which is, as they phrase it, “a big ol’ tater” topped with your choice of protein and mac n cheese, beans, shredded cheese, and sour cream.
And just to keep you guessing, the food truck also likes to have a menu of rotating specials. They won’t be there every time, but if you happen to hit the jackpot that day, you might come across baby back ribs, St. Louis style ribs, smoked turkey, pork belly burnt ends, brisket burnt ends, craft sausages, smo-fried wings, meatwads, birria tacos, barbecue rice, jalapeno poppers, pig shots, macaroni salad, pea salad, smoked cream cheese with crackers, potato salad, and or desserts including smoked cream cheese with apple, cherry, or strawberry toppings and graham crackers, or banana pudding.

It’s also quite hospitable that the Wood Chuck answers what must be a frequent and common question: Why is there chicken pink in the middle?
It pinned the answer to the top of its page: Because it’s smoked.
The menu posted on their page from 2022 shows sandwiches including pulled pork, smoked chicken bacon ranch, and beef brisket. They also offer bone-in wings, half and full racks of ribs, and sides including creamy slaw, smoked chicken and noodles, regular fries, smoked beans, and man n cheese.
They also offer a delightful treat in a concoction called smothered fries — regular and loaded. The regular smothered fries have fries topped with cheddar cheese sauce and pulled pork. The loaded smothered fries have fries topped with cheddar cheese sauce, sour cream, chives, real bacon crumble, and pulled pork.
The Hangry Sisters Kitchen, LLC
The more than 1,000 followers of the Hangry Sisters Kitchen food truck Facebook page must love the classic sandwich and sides feel of this 5-star rated mobile delight. They do an excellent job of keeping followers informed of where and when they’ll be as well as sharing photos of their excellent menu.
When we say classic, we mean it. The hamburgers side of the menu includes all the options you’d find in a 1950s diner from a basic hamburger and cheeseburger to a bacon cheeseburger, mushroom and onion burger, a patty melt, and a delightful concoction called the BOB burger, which includes Colby jack cheese, 2 slices of deep-fried bacon, sautéed onions and barbecue sauce.
Oh, and at the bottom of the menu they ask: “Need more meat?” Yep, you can add an extra patty or bacon if you want a little bit more.
From there, it only gets better, with the choice of a hot dog, a sloppy dog (a hot dog with sloppy joe meat), and a loaded dog (with sloppy joe meat, cheese sauce, and bacon). You can also choose from classic sandwich choices including a BLT, sloppy joe, grilled cheese, bacon grilled cheese, and sloppy grilled cheese.
You can get fries or loaded fries (topped with cheese sauce, sour cream and bacon), bottled water, and brownies.
Talk about All-American. The Hangry Sisters hit the spot.
