The first two episodes of The Amazing Race 35 set a pace for the season, which teams remaining in relatively the same spots in Thailand. But a change in location led to a huge shift in the game. Flight issues and a chaotic market task put trailing teams in the lead, and had dominant teams struggling to stay alive. And, in the end, all the teams were stunned with a surprise at the Pit Stop.

Which teams finished at the top tonight?
Father/daughter duo Steve Cargile and Anna Leigh Wilson flew into Thailand on the last flight, thinking their luck had undone them. But some rifling around put them immediately in the lead, which they never relinquished, finishing the episode in first. They were followed by best friends Joel Strasser and Garrett Smith, who catapulted to the front when they caught a lucky break with their flights.
Which teams finished at the bottom tonight?
Brothers Liam Hykel and Yeremi Hykel had issues all day in Vietnam, from the floating marketplace to applying vinyl. They arrived in last place, though were granted a reprieve in the "keep on racing" leg. Right ahead of them were married couple Jocelyn Chao and Victor Limary. Despite finishing in first place in the first two legs, they took a big tumble to the bottom, having lots of trouble handling the rice paper side of the Detour.
